We've had a crazy year, how about you?

It's crazy to think last christmas we had no idea who our sons were, or when they would be home. Now we are chasing 2 little munchkins around the house trying to keep some sense of order.

Jan - June

Up till June this year I can hardly recall what we did. Seriosly its a blur. We learned of our beautiful twin boys February 11th, they were 3 months old, and 6 pounds each. Since then things got busier than ever. We worked around the house getting ready for them to come home. Stephanie and I ran/biked our first duathalon. We ran it as a relay. Stephanie ran and I did the biking. It was an offroad duathalon, so it was all on trails in prescott. Loads of fun. We tried to spend as much time together doing little things that would be hard with babies. Lots of hikes, movies, late nights, etc.

June 8th

We met our little angels. Ethiopa is a long flight and a world away. We enjoyed our time there, even if we were exhausted. Getting home was a good 22+ hours of planes. It was a looong day. This summer was a whirlwind. Trying to find a balance between babies, family, work, and quiet time. By fall I think we finally felt comfortable as parents and started to venture out more on activites, errands, and little adventures with the boys.

Fall

We ran in a family fit training program. 2x a week taining for a 5k run. It was a lot of fun. Matt hit a personal record with a 3rd place in his age group, 23 minute 5k (with a stroller!) and Stephanie also did great with a 34 minute time. Matt finally was able to get mountain biking again here and there. Once a month or so thus far. Stephanie is enjoying more freedoms as the boys can entertain themselves more on the floor.

November 14

Noah & Ezra turn one! Noah started crawling shortly there after, and Ezra started walking. These days Noah is a turbo crawler, and Ezra walks anywhere and everywhere he possible can. Lots of happy boys in the house as they explore, play with things they are not supposed to, and making as much noise as they possibly can.
